Children of Eastern European Regions, or CHEER, is a not-for-profit, volunteer group composed of families and individuals with adopted children or working on adopting from Eastern European countries. CHEER represents a unique opportunity to meet other families and individuals, for your children to meet other children born in Eastern Europe, and to build life long relationships!

Objectives

Provide a support network for those wanting to adopt and for those who have built a family through adoption.

Provide information to and educate all members of the adoption process.

Provide social opportunities for members' children to meet one another and understand what adoption means as a family building option.

Educate and increase acceptance of adoption to the general public.

Provide the children and their families knowledge about the language, customs and culture of the areas from which the children have come.
