Q: Do I have to have adopted a child already to belong to CHEER?
A: No. CHEER welcomes members who are interested in adopting, are thinking about it, or who just want to learn more.
Q: Do you have to be a married to belong to CHEER?
A: No. CHEER has many single members and does not discriminate on the basis of marital status.
Q: Are there any membership dues?
A: Yes. Membership dues are $30.00 per year.
Q: What are the special events?
A: There is an annual picnic in the summer and a winter festival in January, where there is entertainment for the kids and lots of goodies.
Q: How often does CHEER meet?
A: CHEER meets six times a year.
Q: But I live so far from the meetings. Can't the meetings rotate to other locations?
A: The membership has had a long discussion about this matter. Because of the central location of the meeting place and the free use of facilities, the membership has decided not to rotate meeting locations at this time.
Q: How do members find out about meetings and upcoming events?
A: There is a bi-monthly newsletter for members only.
